CBD COP12 is going to take place at the Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang, about 200km east of Seoul. In the following we will summarize some key information for you:
Shuttle Bus Service from Seoul to Pyeongchang
There will be welcome desks at the two international airports of Seoul where you can book tickets for a shuttle bus to Pyeongchang. The journey time is 3h30m in good traffic (!), in bad traffic it can take up to six hours.

ACCOMMODATION in Pyeongchang
Rooms can be booked in a number of officially designated hotels through the COP12-housing bureau at preferential rates through this website: http://www.cbdcop12.kr/eng/sub/info/acc.php
There will be a shuttle bus service between the officially designated hotels and the COP venue. Journey times will vary between 15 and 45minutes. Rates for double/twin bed rooms vary between 70.000 KRW/50 EUR and 276.000 KRW/200 EUR (sometimes plus taxes).

We have heard that most of the cheaper hotels that are listed on the official website are sold out already. Many of the mid-range hotels are also completely booked out. If you didn’t confirm your accommodation yet better hurry!!
